Exercise Motivation: Your Mind, The Fitness Tool!

Many people are under the impression that you need a lot of expensive equipment to get in shape and be healthy. The truth is you already have the greatest and most versatile equipment available; your mind.

Thoughts are Things: In his book, "Think and Grow Rich", Napoleon states "they are powerful things mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence and a burning desire for their translation into riches or other material objects."

Our thoughts can also bring about change internally too. If we "think" we're skinny and healthy, told city lips SEO, eventually the body will begin to realize that it's not in tune with the mind and make adjustments, source: city lips. If you believe in your mind that you are already in good shape and have definiteness of purpose with those thoughts, and you do this daily with persistence and you have a burning desire to be in great shape-the body will follow. You will start to notice small changes. You should still work out, but you don't have to jump through hoops with your workout routine if you use your mind with your body.

Many fitness experts suggest you visualize yourself as you want to be while working out. Using your mind as a fitness tool should go a lot deeper than that. You need to believe it, desire it with a passion, have faith in it and do this almost constantly-it should stay in the back of your mind at all times, but be brought to the forefront of your mind several times a day.

The thought alone will not bring results. It has to be fueled with faith and desire to manifest itself from just being in the mind to actually bringing results to the body.

You must be focused, have purpose and intent or you're just wasting your time. If you practice this half heartedly or have little faith in it, how could it possibly work? It couldn't. Anything ever achieved in the world was achieved by people who had purpose, intent and faith.

The final thing you must have is persistence. No one ever got anywhere without persistence. You didn't learn to walk without persistence. No musician ever learned to play an instrument without persistence. The Wright Brothers wouldn't have flown without persistence.

Persistence in thought, along with gradual diet changes an increase in exercise will bring about changes faster than diet and exercise alone.
